Daddy-Daughter Dance

Betsy: Hey, I'm a daughter!
Ben: Yes, and I'm a daddy!
Betsy: OK, then we go to 'da Daddydodderdance at church today!  And I'll wear a dress and you can bring me a flower!

Ben walked right into that, didn't he?

On Starbucks

Bets: Mommy you need coffee again today?
Shan: Yep.
Bets: Is that the coffee store?
Shan: Yes, that's Starbucks.
Bets: Coffee is for mommies and daddies.
Shan: Yes.
Bets: So Starbucks is for grown ups, like Chuck E. Cheese is for kids?
Shan: Yes.  You're absolutely correct

And furthermore, I applaud her correct use of analogy.

I wanna be a Rock Star

Betsy: Ella has Rock Star style!
Shan: Bets, do you know what rock stars do?
Betsy: No.
Shan: They sing famous songs.
Ella: Hey, I just met you! And this is crazy, but here's my number...
Shan: *ohjeez*

Heavens to Betsy

I've decided to blog again, with the purpose of documenting the embarassing hysterical things my kids say.  And they do.  They say funny things every single day.  I know everyone believes their kids are beautiful, smart, sweet, funny... but Betsy Bralley is a comedic in the works.  Her grasp of sarcasm is beautifully advanced for being the tender age of four.  So here I go, this should be easier for me to keep up with, jump on the blog, jot a couple of sentences that Betsy or Ella have said, and also it helps me FIND all of these when I make the girls annual books with my favorite pictures stories and quotes.
