Betsy and Ben went to the plastic surgeon yesterday for a consult about the spot on her nose and a second opinion about the bump on her chest.
The doctor compared the red spot on her nose to a blood blister. He said it will go away, it make take three months, maybe 6 months, maybe a year. He wants us to monitor it and we have a follow up in three months for him to take another look.
He also looked at bump on her chest. It causes no pain, moves around if you push on it and is not discolored. This is all good news. The doctor said if it seemed to cause her any pain he would have elected to remove it immediately but since it doesn't we'll just keep an eye on it.
And finally we asked the doctor to take a peek in her right ear which she's been tugging on lately. No worries, it's not an ear infection, she just gets tired and pulls on the ear.
Ben and Betsy enjoyed their day together, I know they are both going to love being home together in the summer. Betsy has a new found love of these hard, textured balls that my friend Mandy gave her. She rolls them around and crawls toward them to pick them up. Yesterday she took a nap holding one in her hand. She chowed down on squash and pears last night, had her bath and bottle and put herself to sleep at about 9.
That's all for now, I'll try to take some fun pictures tonight :)
