Welcome!

My cousin Jessica had a beautiful baby boy yesterday! She went into labor (on her due date!) at about 1 in the morning, headed to the hospital, and delivered by 10 am. Brody Camden Hackney is 21 inches long and weighs 8 pounds, 5.6 ounces.

I headed over to the hospital this morning to see Jessica and Brody, and my cousin Cynthia came by at the same time! We had a nice time visiting and I held Brody for a while (though I had to fight Cynthia for the pleasure (just kidding ;). I forget how little, quiet, and mushy they are as newborns! This makes me excited to meet my own wee one in a while!
